Yah, so where are? 8.02.2004 - 6:56 p.m. Masa el KHeir, fools. I'm in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where are you? Specificaly I'm in Madaba chilling in an internet cafe. Translated, I'm sitting in a small room with the door open to the street next to two other computer terminals. It cost's about 1JD and hour or 78 cents or so. The keyboard has all the Arabic letters on it so I'm guessing...actually I have no idea how you get to Arabic mode. The keys are all stickyh and there's a thousand day old half-glass of abandoned coffee on the desk. And a full ashtray. Yeah, there's no regulations on smoking here. Schools, markets, showers, whatever's clever. Except the mosque. And ladyfolk. Womens can't smoke in public. Madaba's a city of 142,000, so a little bigger than my Independece home. I've been in the Miriam Hotel for the last few days and tomorrow I'll be moving to stay with a host family in a 500 person village nearby. The next 10 weeks will be occupied by language and culture training in Madaba and in the village. It feels like fall or late winter here, the nights are a bit chilly but the days are niiice. It's great cause even in the day all the Jordanians act like it's freezing and wear coats and warm hats. Man, won't them Jordanians ever learn. My body's about ready to fall apart, leaving a pile of confusion and rice. I'm having fun but need more sleep than a year could provide. So I'm going to go now. Steve - You really need to come here. Jonathan - You're really bushy. Email me every detail of Chapelle's show and the US Men's team updates please. I'm going now. Seriously. I'm in the Middle East. Peace in tha East. Hey remember when I was in Jordan? Yeah, that ruled.
